124 - Welder Fabricator--Neenah

1.)Ability to read and fabricate from blueprints and shop drawings. 2.)Possess all required tools. 3.)Ability to do basic to complex layouts. 4.)Ability to run jobs with minimal supervision. 5.)Ability to qualify for any welding certifications that pertain to the employee’s assigned department. 6.)Ability to operate all equipment that pertains to the employee’s assigned department with minimal supervision. 7.)Ability to utilize various types of measuring devices to within 1/32”. 8.)Ability to use MIG, TIG, or FLUXCORE welding techniques. 9.)Has responsibility to meet cost & schedule requirements & quality standards. 10.)Perform all work and duties that are assigned to them by the Company. 11.)This job description indicates the general nature and level of work to be performed. Qualifications Required

*1-3 Years of experience in a weld/fab shop, taking a job from start to finish. *Self-Directed & Motivated *Good Attendance and an Excellent work ethic are a MUST! **This is NOT a production welding position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hand to finger, handle or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and bend. The employee is occasionally required to sit, reach about shoulders, stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move over 70 pounds. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. *Candidates must be able to pass both a written and a hands on welding test. Pre-employment drug screening required. Background check required.
