Parts Counter Rep to maintain inventory and parts for a truck and trailer repair dealership.
Parts Counter Rep Tasks:
- Sells parts to customers at the counter, over the telephone, or through the repair shops.
- Assists customers in determining and selecting appropriate parts.
- Provides price quotes and other parts information.
- Pulls and fills parts orders from stock. Prepares orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up.
- Participates in annual physical inventory .
- Assists manager with maintaining lost sales tracking program.
- Keeps front counter and parts areas clean and free of clutter.
- Six to twelve months parts experience or training
- Heavy duty truck experience preferred
Parts Counter Rep Skills and Requirements:
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
- High school diploma/GED required
- 2+ years’ experience in inventory control
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Able to lift 20-50 pounds without restriction
