US Tech Force is seeking a Metal Finisher for a growing Fabrication Shop. This person will be mechanically inclined and have previous polishing experience in a fabrication shop setting.
Metal Finisher Responsibilities:
- Operates polishing equipment to obtain desired polish on fabricated parts and products
- Grind, Sand, Clean or polish objects or parts to correct defects
- Prepare surfaces for further finishing
- Move controls to adjust, start or stop equipment during grinding and polishing
- Use of hand tools/hand help power tools
- Assist in other areas of the fabrication shop if and when needed
Metal Finisher Requirements:
- MUST be mechanically inclined
- Previous polishing experience required
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all unites of measure
- Ability to read, write & speak the English language
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints & micrometers would be helpful
1st shift!
