US Tech Force is in need of a Sandblaster for an industrial painting company in the Green Bay, WI area. Ideal candidates will possess mechanical aptitude, physical stamina, excellent eye for detail, and follow all safety compliance.
Sandblaster Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate abrasive blasting new carbon steel weldments
- Shoveling or pouring sand, grit, or other abrasive material into machine
- Monitor and maintain adequate supply of abrasive in the hopper
- Prepare surfaces by protecting specific area of the work surface using various adhesives
- Lift, carry, and set up heavy equipment and parts onto racks, into tumbling barrels or cabinets
- Prepare parts for the paint shop
- Maintenance of the sandblasting equipment: cleaning and changing nozzles
- Keep work area clean and orderly
Sandblaster Schedule 1ST AND 2ND SHIFT
Wage: $18-$24 BOE
