Shipping and Receiving Associate
Immediate opening for a Shipping and Receiving Associate to work for a company in Green Bay, WI.
The Shipping and Receiving associate will assist in all material handling duties, loading and unloading product, assist with inventory, preparing products for shipping, data enter, log in product received, and ensuring that adequate supplies are available. Will assist with truck scheduling, working with various carriers, assist with billings, and create packing lists, and local and international shipping.
Job Duties:
- Schedule outgoing loads
- Load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
- Inspect product load for accuracy
- Maintain database to ensure that customer orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided
- Deliver material to proper locations.
- Crate equipment for shipment.
- Researches shipping quotes
- Oversee inventory control
- Use computer to enter records or reference stock.
Education and Experience:
- Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- Modern office practices, methods, and computer equipment and applications.
- ERP experience is preferred.
