US Tech Force is currently seeking a Fabrication Associate for an industrial insulation company in the Green Bay Area!  This position is a long-term, contract-to-hire opportunity with a competitive starting wage, and competitive benefits package.

Technical Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able read, write and speak English at the minimum of a remedial level
• Must be able to use measuring devices (such as a tape measure) accurately
• Must be able to perform simple math including arithmetic, fractions and geometry
• Must be able to successfully complete all assigned safety training and certification requirements
• Industrial sewing experience is a plus

Qualifications:

In addition to being willing and able to perform these functions, with or without supervision, and in an effective manner, the employee must be able to physically perform the following:

1. 1. Lift construction equipment and/or materials weighing up to 50lbs
   2. Work on elevated platforms or on aerial lifts
   3. Climb and work on a ladder
   4. Safely use hand and power tools
   5. Bend, twist, crouch, etc. the specific task demands
   6. Stand or kneel for prolonged periods of time
   7. Ascend and Descend stairs
   8. Push or pull loads weighing up to 50lbs
   9. Utilize a full range of reaching
   10. Must have a valid drivers license

Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate fabricating machines such as cutoff saw, brake press, forming machine.
• Analyze blueprints and determine material to be used and sequence of operation.
• Use specs to determine machine adjustment and material types.
• Monitor machine and detect defects of malfunction.
• Measure pieces to check quality.
• Clean work pieces by removing burrs, sharp edges and rust.
• Stack and pack finished goods.

Education/Experience/Abilities:

• High School diploma
• 3 months related experience
• forklift certified
• Add, Subtract, multiply ,and divide all units of measure

Construction Laborers

Projected to last 6 months or more.

$12-$13/hr.

Assist the rough carpenter crew. Can use a nail gun/LIFT TO 75#, and deal with cold conditions when winter comes.

• minimal carpentry experience
• Workers willing to work hard and learn, has steel toes
• Excellent attendance record
• Must be familiar with general carpentry tools

Hours: 4- 10 hr shift M-Thur.  unless rain- 6:30-4:30

Position is in Fond du Lac

Construction Laborers

Projected to last 6 months or more.

$12-$13/hr.

Description:  Putting wood or metal material into CNC machine and unloading,  QC measurements for accuracy, stacking finished products on pallets and wrapping them for shipment.

New employees start out helping in the recycling department a few days a week.

 

This is an Entry Level position- must be able to read a tape measure and have good basic math skills.  Wage is over $14/hr when hired on which depends on employees attendance, productivity, and a opening being available.
