EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

IMMEDIATE NEED : Equipment Installation Technician

US Tech Force is looking for a Rockstar Dairy Equipment Installation technician for a full time, contract-to-hire, 1st shift position in the Appleton, WI area. The position will install and service dairy systems. Duties will include but not limited to: welding, electrical, working with PVC and Conduit, mechanical assembly, and troubleshooting. All of which can be trained if you are motivated and highly mechanically inclined.

Dairy Equipment Installation Technician:

  • Minimum high school degree and basic mathematical aptitude required
  • Strong organizational skills, including good written and oral communication skills
  • Previous service experience in dairy-related industry is a bonus!
  • Ability to travel locally is required
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to earn a CDL if needed
  • Must be able to be on call 1 night a week (mon-fri) and every 5th weekend
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs at times
  • Motivated, self-starter who can work independently, yet function and participate as part of a team

Mechanic

US Tech Force is hiring for a Shop Mechanic in the fox valley area to join our growing team. Shop Mechanics are responsible for the repair and maintenance of the trailers, operate vehicles and test all working parts in various functions to ensure proper operation.

All employees are required to go through a background check, Motor Vehicle Records, and Drug Test. 

Mechanic Job Duties:

  • Electronic system diagnostics and repair 
  • Air brake diagnostics and repair
  • Complete Trailer Repair from Top to Bottom

Mechanic Requirements:

  • Valid drivers license
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Experience working with various hand and power tools
  • Experience in MIG, TIG or Stick welding ideal
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
  • Having a CDL is a bonus

Machine Operator

Machine Operator requirements:

  • Must have an eye for quality and measurement along with the ability to consistently lift between 20-30 pounds.
  • ability to use calipers and ruler to inspect product quality.
  • Understand and utilize basic math skills, including decimals and reading measurements
  • Experience using a caliper or other related measuring equipment
  • Basic reading and writing
  • Must have ability to maintain and be authorized to operate forklift and/or other power industrial trucks.

  • Weld various parts and components.
  • Inspect parts to ensure accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Has good mechanical aptitude.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Mig Welder Requirements:

  • Previous welding Experience or recently obtained your welding degree.

Welder – Skilled

The ideal Skilled Welder will be responsible, dedicated and have proven experience and skill set.

Welder Responsibilities:

  • Fit, fabricate, and weld custom parts and assemblies per customer spec.
  • Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
  • Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment.
  • Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
  • Clean or degrease parts, using wire brushes, portable grinders, or chemical baths.
  • Welding and soldering of parts.

Qualifications: 

  • At least 2 years of previous welding experience.
  • Ability to read, understand and utilize welding symbols and blueprints.
  • Both MIG and TIG welding experience is required

Welder Schedule: First shift

Wage: $25-$33/hr
