PALLET MACHINE OPERATOR

US Tech Force is seeking Pallet Machine Operator to build pallets for a packaging and transportation wood products manufacturer in De Pere, WI.

Pallet Machine Operator Duties:

  • Operate high-powered automatic nailing machine and saw cutting machine
  • Inspect and evaluate quality of lumber ensuring it meets spec requirements
  • Pull damaged or faulty pallets off the production line.
  • Repair rejected pallet by using a nail gun to repair or reassemble pallet.
  • Regularly check equipment for faults or damages.
  • Restock nails
  • Complete proper tagging of finished pallets and related production reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Pallet Machine Operator Schedule:

1st shift 5:00am-3pm (Mon-Thursday) 5:00am-10am (Friday)

OR

2nd Shift 3:00pm – 1:00am (Monday – Thursday)

Wage: $17 -$19 plus Production Bonus (average pay of $18-20$+)

Fabrication Shop Inspector

We are looking for a talented Fabrication Shop Inspector to join a growing fabrication team! The Ideal Fabrication Inspector will have prior experience in a custom fabrication shop environment.

INSPECTOR JOB DUTIES:

  • Inspects all parts to customer specifications.
  • Reads and interprets inspection manuals, blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine inspection method, procedures and allowable tolerances.
  • Examines parts for defects such as: poor welds, cracks, finishes, stress, and fatigue marks.
  • Calculates allowable dimensional deviations and utilizes knowledge of shop math.
  • Verifies configuration of component parts and location of fastener holes, using check fixtures and measuring instruments. Inspects welding, heat treating, bonding, brazing, and machining of parts for conformance to specifications.
  • Observes or conducts testing of parts to ensure that functional performance and physical characteristics conform to fabrication standards and specifications, using testing and measuring equipment.
  • Accepts or rejects parts and records inspection results.
  • Complete correlating paperwork for each job as required/requested.
  • Discusses inspection and test results with quality assurance, production, and engineering personnel. May also review inspection results prepared by other inspectors.
  • Review job traveler for start date and respective delivery times. Also, must communicate traveler information when changed in order to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Throughout shift, continuously perform in-process checks on fabrication tac welds.

INSPECTOR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Inspection: 2 years in a fabrication or machine shop setting (preferred)
  • Will train the right individual that previous custom welding/fabrication/machining experience wanting to get into inspection.

1st SHIFT: Monday-Thurs 5:00 am-3:00 pm

US Tech Force is looking for an experienced Industrial Painter for priming, painting and coating large steel and metal parts according to customer specifications.

Industrial Painter Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Prefer knowledge of paint production warehouse and/or heavy industrial background.
  • Conventional and airless painting experience are a plus. Attention to detail is mandatory to avoid runs, skips and other quality issues.
  • Must also be conscientious of safety and clean-up.
  • Basic knowledge of quality control practices and experience with wet mil gauges is beneficial.
  • Both conventional and airless methods used for epoxy, urethane and polyurethane paints.
  • Experience with mixing paint for ease in applying.
  • Knowledge of anticipated drying times and correcting of flaws when necessary.
  • Previous experience in both wet paint and powder coating a BONUS!

Industrial Painter Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
  • Some jobs require working at heights that exceed 20 feet (after 90-day probationary period).
  • Areas of the shop can be hotter or cooler than others
