Fence Installer – General Laborer

Fence Installers & General Laborers – $18 – $22/hr starting!

US TECH FORCE is Now Hiring Fence Installers and General Construction Workers for Immediate & Full Time + Overtime.

You will help install wood, chain link, rod iron, gates and steel fencing for a company within Green Bay & work throughout Brown County. The responsibilities will include: assisting the assembly, construction, erection of all fence types, load & unload equipment, digging holes, set-up and tear down work-site, and use general hand and power tools – Commercial & Residential Fences.

1st shift & 40 – 50 hours per week (6:00 am Start at Shop)

A valid driver’s license is preferred. Past construction or landscaping type work experience is preferred (fencing experience is a plus but will train). Enjoys working outdoors in all temperatures. Ability to complete task on schedule, a CDL license a plus – but not necessary. Welding experience a plus but not necessary

 

Shop Assistant

US Tech Force is currently seeking a motivated Shop Assistant that is responsible for the following essential job functions:

  • Cleaning shop, company vehicles, and equipment
  • Pick up parts as needed.
  • Fuel vehicles and equipment.
  • Material Handling of incoming and outgoing parts/materials
  • Perform grounds maintenance including mowing/trimming, snow removal.
  • Assist mechanics with various tasks
  • Collect and stage supplies needed by the utility construction field crews (conduit, spools of cable, hay bales, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical aptitude not required but certainly a plus!
  • Able to drive a forklift
  • Must have a valid, insurance-acceptable drivers license.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Hours are based on a first shift biweekly rotating schedule of Monday-Friday and Tuesday-Saturday. Overtime opportunities are often available.

WAGE: $17-$19/HR

Painter

We are seeking a self-motivated Painter for our construction client in Green Bay. As a painter you are responsible for performing tasks involving the proper application of paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes to residential and commercial structures.  Working conditions include indoors and outdoors and being subject to variable weather conditions.

Painter Qualifications:

  • Completion of coursework in skilled crafts or trades training or experience in field
  • Ability to read and comprehend basic written instructions
  • Basic math skills (construction industry)
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction
  • Ability to problem solve and deal with a variety of situations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision (stay on task)
  • Ability to climb elevations and lift up to 100 lbs at times.
  • Ability to work out-of-town schedule and stay overnight as needed
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record/insurable

Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

US Tech Force is seeking a motivated and self-driven Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to process incoming and outgoing products from vendors for a custom fabrication shop in the Green Bay, WI area.

Job Responsibilities:

  •  Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments, and preparing items for shipment.
  • Reviews shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  • Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
  • Receive products from vendor deliveries and unload trucks at the loading docks.
  • Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
  • Update the product inventory as products are received and added to our inventory.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience with shipping/logistics
  • 2+ years’ experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment
  • Forklift experience
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work on a computer efficiently.

1st shift Monday – Friday 5:00am start time

TIG Welder

US Tech Force is seeking a TIG Welder with experience for our client in Green Bay who is a custom fabrication company.

The ideal Tig Welder candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

  • The ideal candidate must have solid work history. No exceptions.
  • Must also possess a good attitude.
  • Extensive, proven experience welding stainless steel and high alloy steel using MIG and TIG. 75-85% of the work will be done with these metals.
  • Most of the work includes a root TIG weld that is followed by MIG, Flux Core or Sub Arc.
  • Must have strong welding background
  • Blueprint reading and ability to read weld symbols and tape measures is required
  • Welding will happen on large projects throughout the shop so ability to crawl through manways to enter confined space and ability to climb ladders is required.
  • Operation of overhead cranes or forklifts, general hand tools, and air powered grinders are the typical equipment.
  • 5 years’ experience in an ASME or API tank manufacturing shop preferred.
  • Welding diploma and/or related tech training is highly desirable.

Wage:   $18.00 – $30+/hour, based on experience

  • Resolve driver inquiries, breakdowns, service exceptions, accidents and personnel conduct
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations
  • Manage day operations with little supervision
  • Communicate issues to all levels, drivers, customers, upper management
  • Identify potential service failures and develop corrective actions
  •  Working with Safety Ratings
  • Managing all compliances, and regulations related to the hauling of HAZMAT materials.

Qualifications:
