Material Handler – Assembly

US Tech Force is seeking a Full Time – Material Handler – Assembly for immediate openings. The primary responsibilities will be placing and pulling parts off the machines and some grinding & buffing of product using hand tools. The person will also help ensure an adequate supply of products and materials are available and help stack, load & unload product.

Material Handler

1st Shift– Monday-Thursday (5:00 am – 2:30 pm)  Overtime is available

2nd Shift–Monday-Thursday (3:00pm – 1:30am)  Overtime is available

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interest in laser cutting systems
  • 1+ years’ experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift 50#
  • Use hand tools on a repetitive basis, such as grinders, buffers, and sanders
  • Count and tag the parts per job order, pack, palatalize, and provide assistant within the department.
  • Work independently after probationary period to perform production goals with limited supervision
  • Must be dependable and self motivated.
  • Able to stand the entire shift and move around facility.

Excavation Labor

US Tech Force is looking for Excavation General Laborers to assist Equipment Operators at residential and commercial job sites.  Experience is preferred but will train the right individuals.  CDL would be beneficial.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible to perform physical labor at commercial and residential buildings
  • Cleans and prepares job sites and tools
  • Performs manual and mechanical clearing equipment
  • Assists with excavation and / or hand excavation of soils.

 Experience Requirements:

Welder & Material Handler

US Tech Force is looking for a reliable Welder & Material Handler in Kaukauna to help maintain warehouse stock and assist in fulfilling orders. Our Entry Level Welder & Material Handler will be responsible for welding and unloading product deliveries, staging products based on customer orders and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare metal surfaces.
  • Metal finishing and grinding of parts
  • Position and fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets or other fasteners.
  • Drill through aluminum, steel and wood.
  • Perform measurement layouts per blue prints.
  • Attend scheduled work hours on a regular and timely basis. Maintain good attendance.
  • Ability to follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints, tape measures and company documents.
  • Must have basic math skills

Skills and Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Ability to lift loads of 60-100 pounds

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Associates degree or equivalent, relevant experience

Department Lead

US Tech Force is looking for a Department Lead to work with a customer building custom made products.  The qualified individual will lead the team by manufacturing and inspecting materials for flaws and defects and shipping product in a timely manner.

Duties: 

  • Operate manufacturing facility tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Maintain a clean work environment and clean up after each shift
  • Oversee production of a department
  • Provide supervision for up to 4 General Laborers
  • Communicate with Supervisors and Managers daily to ensure production and shipments are made in accordance to customer due dates
  • Ensure the material is ready to be assemble by inspecting material for defects and other quality specifications

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in manufacturing preferred, but not required
  • Previous supervision required
  • Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math computations
  • On most occasions will lift 50 pounds or less and on rare occasion must be able to lift, push, and pull objects over 75 pounds must be able to sit, walk, bend and twist for long periods of time
  • Must be able to understand and adhere to all the safety requirements of the facility
  • Must be able to read a tape measure

Quality Control Technician

US Tech Force is looking for a Quality Control Technician to perform inspections on forms to ensure the form is set up according to the pour sheet.  The qualified candidate will check dimensions of mixed concrete of  for accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs pre-pour inspections on forms.
  • Involved with tensioning of cable to record elongations and ensure cable is tensioned as designed.
  • Checks temperature and air content of wet concrete.
  • Conducts slump tests of wet concrete and makes cylinders for cylinder breaks.
  • Inserts temperature probes for monitoring the curing process.
  • Breaks cylinders the day after a pour and 28 days after pieces are poured
  • Inspects pieces after they have cured and are removed from the forms.
  • Conducts gradation and sieve tests on various aggregate.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in the construction or precast field.
  • Ability to accurately read blueprints, production and drawings.
  • Willingness to achieve ACI and PCI certifications
  • Strong attention to detail, work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Willingness and ability to work outside all year round.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate molding machine and accessories to make molds
  • Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and clean work area at the end of each shift
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
  • All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production.
  • Lifting 1-80 lbs.

Ideal individual will have prior experience in shipping and receiving in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Unloading trucks with lift trucks and overhead cranes
  • Verifying product received and proper staging
  • Packaging and bundling product to fit and ride safely on trucks
  • Documenting product shipped for accountability
  • Moving product in and out
  • Assisting on fabrication equipment when available

Skills and Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 1+ year experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment,
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds at a time unassisted
  • Computer skills preferred
  • Valid drivers license
  • Forklift experience
