  • Excellent attendance is expected with this position.

Parts and Service Manager

PARTS AND SERVICE MANAGER

We are currently seeking a self-motivated Parts and Service Manager   This position is for full time employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.  We offer a wide variety of products to serve our customers that include: concrete and building construction, manure equipment, feeding equipment, free stalls, gates, ventilation, mattresses and waterbeds.

Duties

  • Act as lead person for coordinating all service and installation work.
  • Answer phone calls, provide technical advice, communicate between technicians and customers, prepare and present service orders.
  • Ask appropriate questions to determine the best solution to customers’ parts and service needs.
  • Communicate with customers on current status and time frame of repairs and installations.
  • Go through orders when they arrive and put away or match them with current projects.
  • Assure the shop is neat, clean and in compliance with governmental regulations, safety guidelines as well as company policies.
  • Share the responsibility of after hours calls.
  • Assist in maintaining and accurate inventory of all parts on hand.
  • Attend department meetings

Skills / Experience

  • Three to five years of previously related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of farm equipment required.
  • Must have experience with silo unloaders, barn cleaners, alley scrapers or manure equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to use a computer and current software programs required.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Duties:

  • Expedite raw material orders , resolve shortages, and follow through on deliveries
  • Create and maintain purchase orders.
  • Monitor and order specified raw materials based on min/max levels or other specified replenishment or stocking program.
  • Manage purchased parts inventory; including disposition of slow moving, excess, or obsolete
  • Ensure clear communication of expectations and priorities  regarding on-time delivery and quality
  • Manage supplier returns and resolve inbound quality issues
  • Obtain and analyze quotes
  • Create and send purchase orders to suppliers and ensure confirmations are received Prepare, maintain, and review procurement files, reports and price lists.

Qualifications: 

  • 1-3 years purchasing experience
  •  Supply chain, purchasing, or operations management preferred
  • Experience and Knowledgeable in metal fabrication processes of CNC, Weld, and Sheet Metal
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing desired

Traffic Control Technician – Flagger

US Tech Force is looking Employees that will provide traffic control for various construction projects. This position involves various manual tasks.

Primary Duties: 

  • Lifting 50lbs+ consistently
  • Placing barrels, barricades, and signs on roadways for traffic control
  • Flagman(flagging traffic)
  • Erect signs on posts on side of roadways for detours
  • Pound stubs into ground with compressor and jack hammer assembly for sign supports
  • Put together signs on supports for jobs
  • Sign, barricade, and light repairs
  • Ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions.
  • Communicate with other flaggers regarding traffic on the job site.
  • Direct traffic using the appropriate signs.
  • Work to ensure the safety of pedestrians and material drivers going to and from the job.
  • Other duties as assigned per supervisor.
  • Hours of operation: fulltime (seasonal) days, swings, nights.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders.
  • Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat.
  • Must be able to work varying shift schedule.

Shop pay starts at $13.50.

Prevailing wage jobs pay upwards of $48.30/hr.

Essential Function(s) of the Position:

The duties listed below are the specific duties and tasks that someone in this position must accomplish.

  • Operation of heat-treat equipment
  • Read lineup to determine the arrangement of various loads
  • Frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions parts weighing up to 40 lbs. when loading and unloading parts from heat-treated baskets
  • Typically operates a forklift/hi-lo to transport baskets
  • Inspects parts to ensure quality compliance
  • Creates shippers and certifications on completed orders
  • Responsible for safety and general housekeeping in work area

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Ability to demonstrate a High School level of reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Previous forklift/hi-lo experience is an asset but not required
  • Ability to read/follow detailed work instructions

Candidate Requirements:

Candidates must successfully pass drug screening, a physical examination, and undergo reference/background checks prior to Offer of Employment. Position requires physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

CAD Drafter / Programmer

Essential Duties:

  • Monitor programs to ensure parts are manufactured efficiently
  • Reviews contract drawings, sketches, and written descriptions to prepare complete drawings
  • Maintains files of working documents to assist in the creation of drawings
  • Uses SolidWorks software to develop 3D models and drawings of projects
  • Consults with clients, vendors, employees, or other individuals to discuss and resolve issues
  • Review and evaluate project drawings and specifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Associates Degree or Certificate in Mechanical Design strongly preferred
  • 1+ years’ experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment desirable CAM, turret punch and off-line bending software knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of common dimensions (GD&T) and material types (metal industry background preferred)
  • Knowledgeable in Solidworks
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines
  • Able to prepare, read and interpret CAD drawings in order to produce material take-offs
  • Ability to understand blue-print drawings, hand sketches, and written descriptions required

We are currently looking to hire a FULL TIME  Custodian Maintenance to work in Appleton, WI.

The primary duties will be to help with general building maintenance and upkeep, preventative maintenance duties, landscaping and grounds keeping, painting, and equipment cleaning.

  • Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects
  • Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, store entrance areas
  • Empty trash cans for proper disposal
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaners and equipment
  • Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
  • Should have some experience with General Building Maintenance of commercial buildings.

Must have a Valid Driver’s License with an insurance acceptable driving record to be able to drive the company vehicle.
