Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Associates degree or equivalent, relevant experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment desirable
  • Strong knowledge of various welding processes, fixturing design and development of work instructions 
  • CWI or CAWI preferred and expert reading blueprints
  • Ability and experience leading a team, setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, quickly and accurately in an environment with changing/fluctuating priorities.
  • Must be very detail oriented and thorough with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in ISO 9001 certified environment

Department Lead

US Tech Force is looking for a Department Lead to work with a customer building custom made products.  The qualified individual will lead the team by manufacturing and inspecting materials for flaws and defects and shipping product in a timely manner.

Duties: 

  • Operate manufacturing facility tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Maintain a clean work environment and clean up after each shift
  • Oversee production of a department
  • Provide supervision for up to 4 General Laborers
  • Communicate with Supervisors and Managers daily to ensure production and shipments are made in accordance to customer due dates
  • Ensure the material is ready to be assemble by inspecting material for defects and other quality specifications

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in manufacturing preferred, but not required
  • Previous supervision required
  • Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math computations
  • On most occasions will lift 50 pounds or less and on rare occasion must be able to lift, push, and pull objects over 75 pounds must be able to sit, walk, bend and twist for long periods of time
  • Must be able to understand and adhere to all the safety requirements of the facility
  • Must be able to read a tape measure

Quality Control Technician

US Tech Force is looking for a Quality Control Technician to perform inspections on forms to ensure the form is set up according to the pour sheet.  The qualified candidate will check dimensions of mixed concrete of  for accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs pre-pour inspections on forms.
  • Involved with tensioning of cable to record elongations and ensure cable is tensioned as designed.
  • Checks temperature and air content of wet concrete.
  • Conducts slump tests of wet concrete and makes cylinders for cylinder breaks.
  • Inserts temperature probes for monitoring the curing process.
  • Breaks cylinders the day after a pour and 28 days after pieces are poured
  • Inspects pieces after they have cured and are removed from the forms.
  • Conducts gradation and sieve tests on various aggregate.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in the construction or precast field.
  • Ability to accurately read blueprints, production and drawings.
  • Willingness to achieve ACI and PCI certifications
  • Strong attention to detail, work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Willingness and ability to work outside all year round.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate molding machine and accessories to make molds
  • Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and clean work area at the end of each shift
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
  • All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production.
  • Lifting 1-80 lbs.
  • Carrying 1-80 lbs.
  • Push/pull, handle up to 90 lbs.

 Working conditions:

Monday – Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm –  in Hortonville, WI.

Essential Functions:

  • Pressure washes, cleans, details and performs light repairs to equipment in the shop.
  • Responsible for upkeep, preventative maintenance and minor repairs of assigned facility, tools, equipment, yard, and machinery.
  • Cleans showroom and public restrooms on a daily basis, including checking and stocking of bathroom supplies.
  • Assists truck drivers and customers with pick-up and drop-off, loading and unloading trucks.
  • Operates a forklift in a safe, reliable manner to move crates and other heavy objects.
  • Assures inter-company transfers are ready for the route truck.
  • Assures that deliveries are delivered to the correct department and proper person is notified of delivery.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving history required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Knowledge of farm equipment preferred.
