Preferred Qualifications/Experience
• High school degree or equivalent, relevant experience preferred
• 1+ years’ experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment desirable but not required.
• Technology savvy to enter sales orders received by customers into IT system
• Ability and experience meeting deadlines
• Ability to work independently, quickly and accurately in an environment with changing/fluctuating priorities.
• Must be very detail oriented and thorough with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Action-oriented, customer service-oriented attitude, taking initiative to follow projects and jobs through the production process.
• Engaging personality capable of generating and growing meaningful relationships with coworkers.

WELDER – Entry Level, Semi-skilled job involving custom frame fabrication by cutting, punching, welding, grinding, sanding and finishing frames per work order specifications and templates. Custom preparation of doors for hardware, light kits and glass installation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• MIG Welding of hollow metal frame material and commercial hardware
• Assembly of hollow metal frame material and commercial hardware
• Frequent work saw cutting, grinding, and sanding related materials

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Experience using MIG welders preferred
2. Must know how to read a tape measure and blueprints
3. Ability to lift 50lbs independently (and up to 100lbs with assistance)
4. 1-2 years previous experience
5. Must have attention to detail
6. Must be self-motivated, work unsupervised, quality work and willingness to learn
7. Basic construction knowledge with specific experience related to hollow metal and commercial hardware applications strongly preferred
