PROGRAMMER/NESTING COORDINATOR – ($24.00++ and bonuses available)

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Programmer/Nesting Coordinator to for a growth oriented company in the Fox Valley Area.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience
• Associates degree or equivalent, relevant experience preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment desirable
• Strong knowledge of laser cutting system or school trained
• Setup laser cutting of various metal on Mitsubishi CO2 and Fiber lasers
• Experience reading blueprints
• Ability and experience setting priorities and meeting deadlines
• Ability to work independently, quickly and accurately in an environment with changing/fluctuating priorities
• Must be very detail oriented and thorough with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Work with Lead Laser Coordinator and other programmers to ensure laser programming parameters such as: tabs, orientation, sheet borders, format, part separation, etch conditions, open cuts, material nomenclature, etc. are being programmed correctly. Maintain these parameters and ensure all programmers are utilizing these parameters consistently.
• Assist in minimizing wasted drop and using drop available. Coordinate renesting when practical to use drop rather than new sheets of material.
• Ensure CAD/programming work is completed in a quality manner. This includes tracking programming errors (wrong material, wrong revision, incorrect bend allowance, etc.) and reporting each month to management
• Coordinate quick and efficient resolution of CAD/programming issues and delegates corrective action required
• Maintain and ensure CAD/CNC files are up to date and contain only the latest revision levels. Ensure that any old revision files that must be maintained are kept in an archive file. Use manufacturing knowledge and judgement to advise estimator/management when routings/methods are not accurate.
• Monitor laser programs to ensure parts are cut and nested efficiently
• Action-oriented, customer service-oriented attitude, taking initiative to follow projects and jobs through the production process

– Logs in incoming inventory shipments from UPS, and other freight carriers, and ensures that inventory is stored in proper location, or shipped out, as applicable.
– Communicates with freight companies and create BOL’s
– Operates a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
– Ensures all safety rules are strictly observed.
– Coordinates with Purchasing Department regarding product shortages and outages.
– Maintains neat, clean and orderly warehouse appearance.
– Adheres to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines.
– Ensure proper and full time use of PPE.
– Breakdowns boxes and pallets as necessary.
– Assists customer service as needed.
– Perform miscellaneous duties as required.

Job education, skills and experience requirements:
– 1+ year of industrial related experience and or industry related experience
– Experience in using a computer terminal to determine shipping, receiving, backorder and inventory status preferred.
– Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and Outlook
– Must be able to safely drive a forklift; maintain appropriate forklift certification.
– Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.

Industrial Service Technician – DIRECT HIRE

We are looking for an Industrial Service Technician who will be responsible for field technical support services for the S, equipment operation and product installation. The Service Technician will coordinator field service schedules, prepare and execute scope of work and document the completion of services rendered. The position will advise and assist the sales team on all aspects of equipment assessments and estimations of service work. Domestic and International Travel will be required for on-site installation and field service and/or to provide technical assistance and oversight to distributors and/or customers as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Technical Field Service
o Support installation, service repair and troubleshooting of Industrial equipment in the field including but not limited to:
 New Equipment Installation – Project coordination from time of equipment delivery through final commissioning including project pre-planning, on-site coordination and management of travel and project timelines.
– Equipment operational training and coordination of additional post sale support programs and offers.
o Post-Sale Support – Perform on-site diagnostics and troubleshooting on all aspects of Industrial equipment and systems.
 Equipment rework or field upgrades.
 Testing, repair and rebuilding Industrial products as needed.
o Communication – maintain internal and external communications that support project timelines and scope of work relative to technical support and billable services.
 Maintain weekly reports and document open and closed services jobs.
Customer Relations
o Responsible for high level customer satisfaction through 1st line contact with the customer and distributor service personnel relating to product installation, service and training questions while maintaining a positive customer service approach in all situations.
o Routinely accepts inquiries from existing customers, distributors and Industrial staff assisting and educating them relative to appropriate corrective action in regard to product service related issues.
o Act as a liaison to in-house salespeople training them on product capabilities, equipment sizing and layout and informing them on issues related to product installation and operating requirements.
