Machine Operator – 2nd shift; $17.00/hour

Oshkosh, WI

MACHINE OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Set up machines (tool changes, calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
* Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
* Feed (load) Machine – Pack Product – Wrap and Palletize
* Inspect product for quality assurance.
* Monitor all operations of machine periodically
* Fix issues that might occur during the shift
* Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
* Keep records of approved and defective product
* Maintain production logs

MACHINE OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment (some machine operating experience helpful – BUT NOT NECESSARY – willing to train)
* Understanding of production procedures
* Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
* Attention to detail

We are looking for an experienced MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR to join a leading and growing manufacturing company. The primary duties for the Maintenance Supervisor will be to supervise, schedule, plan, and implement all maintenance activities in the facility. The primary objective will be to maximize equipment effectiveness and availability while following established safety, environmental, and regulatory practices and procedures, and help ensure continuous production operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

*Supervise, create, plan, and organized the daily activities of the maintenance department.
*Ensure all personnel adhere to company safety standards, policies and procedures.
*Conduct performance evaluations, coaching and counseling staff to help ensure staff development and continuous improvement.
*Ensure maintenance issues are efficiently and effectively addressed.
*Monitors and performs equipment inspections.
*Establishes preventative and predictive maintenance procedures.
*Trouble shoot and repair equipment issues.
*Works with contractors, suppliers, and vendors in project planning and execution.
*Partners with purchasing for parts inventory and tracking.
* Assist in newly purchased equipment spare parts lists, machine guarding, maintenance schedules, and establishing preventative maintenance tasks.
* Must be able to work 40 – 50 hour work weeks and some weekends or holidays (depending on need)

REQUIREMENTS:

* 3 – 5+ years in Maintenance experience – with a background in electrical and mechanical operations.
* 3+ years Supervisor experience
* Excellent troubleshooting skills, technical knowledge of production equipment (both in mechanical and electrical), and computer controlled operations.
* Must be able to plan and coordinate several projects simultaneously, work closely with Production and/or Contractors
* Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills.

Summary of duties and responsibilities:
The Clean-up Personnel will Efficiently perform all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products, follow standard work methods, and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

1. Operate forklift, hoist, and floor sweeper
2. Clean under mold handlers, blow off machines with air wand & hose
3. Take out garbage/trash
4. Operate foundry vacuum
5. Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
6. Maintain a clean and safe work area and clean work area at the end of shift
7. Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
8. All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production
