Fiberglass Laminators
Great job opportunity for qualified individuals to work as a Fiberglass Laminator. You will be responsible for laminating layers of fiberglass on molds to form the product.
Will release air bubbles and smooth seams, using rollers. The Fiberglass Laminator will spray chopped fiberglass and resins onto prepared molds using spray guns with attachments. The Fiberglass Laminator will pat or press layers using brushes or hands, and smooth out wrindles and air bubbles with hands or squeegees. Will bond wood reinforcing strips. Will trim excess materials using hand shears or trimming knives. Will repair or modifies damaged or defective glass – fiber parts, check thicknesses, and contours to ensure a close fit after repair.
Qualifications:
Must be detail oriented and able & willing to learn.
Prefer experience with Fiberglass Laminating…but not necessary.
Must be able to use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.
Will observe, receive ad obtain information from different sources to ensure correct product.
Will perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
