Screen Printer

Screen Printer – 1st Shift $13.00-$15.00/hour

A well established Company with over 20 years and growing is looking to hire a 1st shift Textile Screen Printer. This is an immediate opening

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate an automatic screen printing press according to written and/or verbal instructions, established company procedures, safety and quality guidelines.
  • Solve printing problems and making print adjustments to mechanical operation of press to keep quality, registration, color and optimum production speed.
  • Understanding of inks, solvents and can print line, halftone and four-color copy on a variety of substrates.

Essential Functions:

  • Receives production order and job assignments from supervisor. Reads order to verify quantity to be run, overrun tolerance, color sequence and substrate.
  • Obtains substrate, screen, ink, squeegees, and related supplies needed to produce job.
  • Checks screens for proper color sequence and quality.
  • Sets up press according to established company guidelines, safety and job requirements.
  • Tests the registration of the print design by allowing the machine to cycle automatically, printing on material scraps until registered.
  • Prints proof to check press setup, registration, ink viscosity and color.
  • Secures supervisors’ approval of 1st run before printing job.*
  • Sign off on production paperwork.
  • Prints job maintaining optimum production speed and makes press adjustments to maintain print quality, registration and color.
  • Solves print problems.
  • Prints line and halftone copy on a variety of substrates.
  • Completes production run including overruns and production samples.
  • Completes production records.
  • Ensures proper cleanliness of press, work station and immediate press area by returning unused ink to ink racks, removing trash, rags and extra press sheets.
  • Responsible for directing the work of press puller and quality control/belt.

Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

ELECTRO-MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – $25.00 – $27.60 ++

Are you looking to begin a career with an established and stable local company within the Fox Valley Area? We have a GREAT opportunity for you! We are looking to hire an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician!

POSITION SUMMARY

Perform preventative maintenance procedures and related maintenance duties on a wide variety of equipment and infrastructure. Included are Corrugating machines and Corrugate Converting machines, process support equipment, interior and exterior of buildings and grounds. Conduct preventative maintenance procedures on both electrical and mechanical systems. Poses the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical failures. Maintain overall condition of company assets following the standards set forth and regulated by the company policy

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.
1.Participates in continuous improvement and effectively communicates opportunities to improve efficiencies and effectiveness for this position.
2.General Industrial maintenance to include, but not limited to lubricating, repairing, rebuilding, trouble shooting, and cleaning production machines. Other duties to consist of infrastructure maintenance and fabrication. This includes welding, cutting, grinding, carpenter work, and operating shop machines (lathes, mill, drill press, grinder, saw, and other small hand tools).
3.Perform maintenance and repair to the lift trucks; roll grabs and dollies, steam generators, air compressors, and other process support equipment.
4.Perform electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, HVAC, and concrete work.
5.Accurately carry out and assist in the development of preventative maintenance procedures.
6.Create and complete work orders.
7.Communicate with machine operators.
8.Utilize the CMMS and other resources to provide maintenance planning.
9.Support and develop downtime reduction initiatives.

All other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

The Maintenance Mechanic must hold a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. It is a requirement to poses, or obtain, an Associate’s Degree, Millwright or Journeyman card in a related field to remain in the department. Mechanic must demonstrate the ability to read and interpret documents such as mechanical and electrical drawings, maintenance procedures and manuals, company policies and safety rules. Mechanic must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills using various units of measure is required; this includes whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. The ability to compute rate, velocity, ratio, and percent, perform conversions, interpret and or develop graphs and technical reports is also required. The mechanic must be able to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Possession of the ability to deal with problems involving several variables in various situations and take appropriate action to resolve these problems is a must.

Candidates need to have an Electro-Mechanical background either through education or experience. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, display a positive attitude and have a strong work ethic. The wages range is from $25.13-$27.60 commensurate with experience.

Persons hired are required to work a M-F rotating shift assignment of:
3rd shift – 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Overtime is also required which can include 12 hour shifts and weekends.
