Electro-Mechanical Technician (Direct Hire)
We have a GREAT job opportunity and looking to hire an Electro-Mechanical Technician to work for a GREAT company in Appleton, WI. Full-Time and Immediate Opening.
The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and adjusting all manufacturing equipment in the plant consisting of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, servo, and PC systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

All duties associated with maintenance plus ability to demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
1. AC/DC Fundamentals.
2. Welding/Brazing: proper use of all weld shop equipment
3. Loom control systems: HP200, BK600, BK800
4. Working knowledge of Motor Controls, Programmable Control Logic & Input and Output
5. Demonstrate the ability to determine cause of failure and troubleshoot machinery
6. Ability to read schematics for electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
7. Versed in TPM principals
8. Experience in machine set up data, encoder and timing
9. Good Verbal and written communication skills
10. Working efficiently with a focus on continuous improvement.
11. Repair and maintain plant and equipment as assigned.
12. Document and record as required (checklists and other paperwork).
13. Perform required preventive maintenance.
14. Use existing SOP’s and templates to set-up looms and other equipment for consistent performance/product quality.
15. The candidate should have the ability to accept change and work in a team environment.
16. Must be a self-starter who is accurate, precise, and takes pride in their workmanship.
17. Continue to upgrade skills/knowledge as required and assigned by the Company.
Education – Successful completion of Electro-Mechanical, Maintenance, Electrician, and or Equivalent program at an accredited school – Preferred.
Mathematical Ability to add, subtract, multiple, divide and measure up to 1/16”. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions. Ability to use a calculator.
Qualifications:
- Reasonable Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Be able to regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to lift 25 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to lift 50 lbs., sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employee is working in an environment of fast moving equipment.
