Approx. 3 – 4 hours/day; 20 hours/week; and starting at 5:00 pm

Specifically, some of the primary tasks will include:

Job Description:

  • Implements human resources programs through the following services: staffing, employment processing, benefits, training & development, records management, safety & health and employee relations & retention.
  • Develops solutions by collecting and analyzing information; provides recommended courses of action.
  • Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluation potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees.
  • Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information fulfilling transactions.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; advising management on needed actions.

Job Duties:

  • Staffing & recruitment
  • Background & reference checks of potential employees
  • Phone screen potential employees and set face-to-face interviews
  • Orientate new hires
  • Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, amount of sales or production, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations.
  • Arrange for advertising or posting job vacancies
  • Coordinate and manage employee benefits
  • Oversee worker’s compensation claims from opening to closure
  • Detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies
  • Process weekly payroll for 30+ employees including liability/tax payments
  • Distribute paychecks
  • Prepare & submit quarterly & annual state, federal, and unemployment tax reports.
  • Maintain & administration of OSHA written programs & training
  • Complete monthly building inspection
  • Schedule & conduct monthly safety meetings

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in a similar to equal  role

* Cutting, measuring and assembling material and hardware according to work order 
* Sewing Nylon Sling or assembly together to customer and/or product specifications 
* Inspecting, stenciling, and wrapping product 
* Documenting time and materials used in a timely and accurate manner 
* Occasional overtime as required to meet customer needs

Required stand-up forklift experience

Full-Time – Both 1st and 2nd shifts are available

Duties:

  • Read work orders and pick sheets for required materials.
  • Examine work orders for accuracy.
  • Review production schedule to determine priority of work orders to pull and stage.
  • Pull the correct paper rolls and packaging materials for work orders and stage materials at the production lines.

Preferred 1 year light manufacturing experience.
Prior experience using industrial vehicles: roll clamps and forklifts.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting up to 55 pounds.
  • Getting on and off lift trucks, frequently.
  • Moving pallets with hand or powered jack.
  • Standing, walking and bending.
  • Reaching and grabbing with hands.
