Machine Operator – Quality Inspector

Machine Operator – Quality Inspector – $13.00 – $15.00

We are looking to hire a 2nd Shift (1:50 pm – 12:20 am) Machine Operator – Quality Inspector for an Immediate Opening in the Fox Valley Area. Training will be provided!!!

Responsibilities include:

  • Verify and document dimensional/visual conformance of parts to specifications
  • Assist with troubleshooting part quality issues
  • Perform 1st article inspections per customer requirements
  • Complete customer quality documentation including
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, and instruments in good working order
  • Provide process/departmental improvement ideas to Management that will help keep Fox Valley Spring a leader within the industry
  • Provide insight to operators as needed, with regard to customer specifications and parts.
  • All other duties as assigned

Training will be provided for all of the above responsibilities

Skills Needed:

  • *Ability to follow: rules, regulations, safety guidelines, and verbal directions is a must
  • *Ability to read and interpret a Blueprint
  • *Ability to use measurement instruments including calipers, micrometers, Gage pins, and height indicators
  • Experience with force testing is a plus
  • Experience with vision system measurement equipment is a plus.
  • Perform calibrations according to established schedules
  • Experience in an ISO 9001 system is a plus
  • *Attention to detail

Other:

  • Ability to work: sitting, standing, walking throughout the day
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and push pull drag 50 lbs. on occasion
  • Ability to read and write and do simple math to work within tolerances
  • See differences between colors, shades, and brightness
  • Hold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the arm
  • Use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects
  • Use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects

Blaster

Blaster – Willing To Train – $14.00 – $20.00 – 1st Shift

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Blaster to work in a fast-paced industrial environment; blasting primarily large steel/metal materials. First Shift/Full-Time – Will Train the Right Candidate!

Primary Responsibilities:

Operating Equipment – Grit blasting equipment such as hoses, nozzles and hoods. Various blast media such as metal grit and glass bead.

Blast Knowledge – Experience with various grades of blast quality. WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE

Quality Control – Knowledge of the difference between blast grades is a plus, as well as knowledge of metal fabrications on what type of media should be used for different grades of metal.

Set-up and Clean-up – Responsible for functionality and maintenance of assigned equipment. Should know or will be trained on how to disassemble blast nozzles and clean thoroughly and at end of day and be able to prep for next day’s work swiftly. Set-up and shut-down must be completed expeditiously to maximize blast-time. Must also learn, understand and adhere to clean up guidelines.

Teamwork – Must maintain constant contact with supervisors and coworkers to assure safety, efficiency and open communication. Must be willing to shift priorities as needed to optimize efficiency.

Cross training – All employees are cross trained to perform other duties, such as, but not limited to: Painting, Material Handling, Quality Control, etc.

Time Management – Blasters are responsible for tracking time allocated to various jobs that occur simultaneously and submit accurate time card at the end of each day. Team Members are expected to cooperate and assist others as necessary to boost productivity.

Safety – Blasters are required to go through training and testing for required machinery and abide by procedures for operating equipment and for conduct on the shop floor.

Policies & Procedures – All team members are expected to have a basic understanding of Profile Finishing Systems employee handbook and know general protocol for conduct and performance expectations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Blasters are trained with in-depth knowledge of paint production warehouse and/or heavy industrial background.
• Industrial Blast Booth experience is not required, but is a plus. Attention to detail mandatory to avoid runs, skips and other quality issues.
• Basic knowledge of quality control practices are beneficial.
• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.• Strong work ethic is a must. Unexcused absences and tardiness will not be tolerated.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills are required.

• Fork Lift experience is a plus.

Road Crew – General Laborer

Road Crew – General Laborer Position – $17.00 +/hour

NOW Hiring a number of individuals to join an established Road Crew – General Laborer Position that will complete the removal of commercial coolers/freezers ranging from 24 sq. feet to 50,000 sq. feet and the mechanical refrigeration systems.

Most removals are completed with the assistance of forklifts/scissor lifts. All essential training will be completed to certify employees on equipment. Tools, PPE, vehicles and hotel rooms will be provided by the company.

Essential Functions:  

  • Participate in the removal of refrigeration equipment, coolers/freezers.
  • Learn, understand and perform the proper techniques from box/equipment removal, diagramming, completing box description sheets and loading/unloading trucks.
  • Use necessary equipment hand and power tools on a daily basis in a safe manner.
  • Operate forklifts and scissor lifts to transport materials and equipment from one place to another on jobsite.
  • Have the ability to put plans in place in order to remove equipment in the most safe, efficient and time effective ways.
  • Calculating and loading equipment onto trucks for shipping.
  • Ensure company vehicles and property are respected, clean and maintained.
  • Continue learning, training and providing positive input and feedback to supervisors and co-workers.
  • Assist in yard/shops with any needed duties.
  • Comply with all OSHA, DOT and company safety regulations.
  • Know and abide by all Local, State and Federal Laws.
  • Ensure that all work is being done in compliance with the company’s protocols.
  • Have good written communication skills in order to complete the appropriate removal process paperwork.
  • Ensure a positive communication dialogue and respect with all supervisors, peers and subordinates.

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. This position also requires employees to work outdoors in all kinds of weather including buildings without heating or AC.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a full-time position. Working hours vary day to day ranging from 10-12 hour days (while on the road) and approximately 60+ hours per week. There will be times when crews will be working weekends and be out on a job for 3 weeks at a time. Work in the yard is available if there are no jobs on the road with approximately 8 hour working days.

  • Current Driver’s License
  • Have an insurable driving record
  • At least 21 years of age

BASIC FUNCTION:

A Dairy Service Technician is responsible for meeting the dairy customer’s needs in the proper troubleshooting, servicing and repairing of dairy equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose, service and/or repair dairy equipment effectively and efficiently
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Advise customers on the proper use, operation and maintenance of dairy equipment
  • Required product knowledge and training to ensure:
  • Customer satisfaction and ability to promote the sales of products and services
  • Drive a sales/service vehicle, and maintain the vehicle and parts/tools to complete job
  • Inventory management and preparation of invoices for services performed or products sold

EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND:
