US Tech Force is looking for a Maintenance Technician. Immediate Openings in Little Chute, WI. The primary responsibilities will be to ensure the equipment and building is in operating order, general maintenance on facility equipment, preventative maintenance, minor machine repair, electrical & mechanical repair, help ensure a neat and clean work environment and practice safety techniques at all time. The goal of the position is to help minimize machine downtime.

Job Duties:

  • Industrial Maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting on 1st shift
  • Electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic experience and be very mechanically inclined
  • Possess an understanding of basic electrical components.

Material Handler will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, staging products based on customer orders and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory.

Duties: 

  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
  • Transport raw materials to production workstations

Laser Operator

Weekend shift–FRI 8am-6:30pm & SAT-SUN 6am-7pm

Job Summary: The Laser Operator will be responsible for running the laser and providing basic machine adjustments and periodic maintenance as requested. This person will be responsible for the quality of all materials produced while maintaining company safety guidelines and practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Associates degree or equivalent, relevant experience preferred
  • 1+ years’ experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment desirable
  • Strong knowledge of laser cutting system or school trained.
  • Setup laser cutting of various metal on Mitsubishi CO2 and Fiber lasers
  • Experience reading blueprints
  • Ability and experience setting priorities and meeting deadlines through automated systems
  • Ability to work independently, quickly and accurately in an environment with changing/fluctuating priorities

Education and Experience:
• Previous laser operator experience
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis
• Ability to multi-task in order to ensure efficient operations of the team

Maintenance Technician

US Tech Force is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician to join our team.  The Maintenance Technician will perform mechanical and electrical duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform machine repair, and preventative maintenance
  • Custom fabrication and welding, limited
  • Use grinders, drills and hand tools
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production to minimize down time, diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and making adjustments
  • Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties, make repairs and adjustments as needed
  • Follow established equipment Lockout/Tagout procedures as required without fail
  • Regularly inspects for plant safety
  • Forklift and equipment PM’s

Qualifications:

  • An Associate’s or Technical Degree in Maintenance or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hands on maintenance role in a manufacturing plant
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and with changing environmental conditions
  • Must provide their own set of tools
  • Experience installing electrical components such as Transformers, Drives- wiring electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment is a plus, not required
  • Combination of equivalent experience and/or education will be considered

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Broad knowledge of maintenance skills including: mechanical repair, welding, pneumatic, mathematics, hydraulics, and electrical repair to include control wiring, 110 volts, 220 volts, and 480 volts three phase power and 12DC.
  • Knowledge of: 6’S and lean manufacturing; OSHA guidelines of lockout/tagout; P.P.E.; Hazardous chemicals.
  • Knowledge of all tools utilized in equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Good math, mechanical and measuring skills. Good communication and organizational skills. Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently; ability to read and follow detailed instructions, and think/react quickly to troubleshoot daily electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain in-house forklift license, participate in OSHA training, and other training as required.
  • Ability to work the required hours of the position including on-call weekends on a rotating basis.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift and carry up to 50; occasionally lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Stand and walk for full shift; frequently reach with hands
  • Occasionally sit, climb, crawl, crouch, kneel, bend and stoop
  • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
