Maintenance Technician

US Tech Force is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician to join our team.  The Maintenance Technician will perform mechanical and electrical duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform machine repair, and preventative maintenance
  • Custom fabrication and welding, limited
  • Use grinders, drills and hand tools
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production to minimize down time, diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and making adjustments
  • Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties, make repairs and adjustments as needed
  • Follow established equipment Lockout/Tagout procedures as required without fail
  • Regularly inspects for plant safety
  • Forklift and equipment PM’s

Qualifications:

  • An Associate’s or Technical Degree in Maintenance or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hands on maintenance role in a manufacturing plant
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and with changing environmental conditions
  • Must provide their own set of tools
  • Experience installing electrical components such as Transformers, Drives- wiring electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment is a plus, not required
  • Combination of equivalent experience and/or education will be considered

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Broad knowledge of maintenance skills including: mechanical repair, welding, pneumatic, mathematics, hydraulics, and electrical repair to include control wiring, 110 volts, 220 volts, and 480 volts three phase power and 12DC.
  • Knowledge of: 6’S and lean manufacturing; OSHA guidelines of lockout/tagout; P.P.E.; Hazardous chemicals.
  • Knowledge of all tools utilized in equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Good math, mechanical and measuring skills. Good communication and organizational skills. Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently; ability to read and follow detailed instructions, and think/react quickly to troubleshoot daily electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain in-house forklift license, participate in OSHA training, and other training as required.
  • Ability to work the required hours of the position including on-call weekends on a rotating basis.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift and carry up to 50; occasionally lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Stand and walk for full shift; frequently reach with hands
  • Occasionally sit, climb, crawl, crouch, kneel, bend and stoop
  • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Machine Operators

The ideal candidate for this role has  experience in the manufacturing sector, pays strong attention to detail and is committed to workplace safety.

  • Must have an eye for quality and measurement along with the ability to consistently lift between 20-30 pounds.
  • Use measuring instruments; calipers and ruler to inspect product quality.
  • Sort boards in end board sorting area.
  • Understand and utilize basic math skills, including decimals and reading measurements
  • Experience using a caliper or other related measuring equipment
  • Basic reading and writing
  • Must have ability to maintain and be authorized to operate forklift and/or other power industrial trucks.
  • 1st Shift–6:00am to 4:00pm–Monday – Thursday
  • 2nd Shift–4:00pm to 2:00am–Monday – Thursday

Shear Operator

US Tech Force is looking for a Shear Operator to tend fabricating machines to manufacture parts within a growth oriented company in Neenah, WI.

Job Duties: 

  • Read job specifications from shop drawings or blueprints to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
  • Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template
  • Position workpiece against stops or align layout marks with dye or blade
  • Push button or depresses pedal to activate machine
  • Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction
  • Measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation

Qualifications: 

  • Assist in areas of Press Brakes, Grinding/Finishing, Parts Pull, Turret machines.
  • 1+ years’ experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment
  • Experience reading blueprints.
  • Previous experience with shearing preferred and sheet metal preferred.

Packaging Operator

12 hour shifts 2-2-3 schedule 6:00am to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 6:00am

  • Perform packaging equipment setups and operation.
  • Conduct quality checks to assure product meets  quality expectations
  • Oversee supporting equipment within the sheeting line. (Ream / Case Labelers, Inkjets and Strapping equipment)
  • Perform minor preventive maintenance, cleaning and troubleshooting packaging equipment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of light manufacturing experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge, math and measuring skills and mechanical skills.

Parts Puller

US Tech Force is seeking a Full Time – Parts Pullers for an immediate openings on 1st and 2nd shift. The primary responsibilities will be placing and pulling parts off the machines and some grinding & buffing of product using hand tools. The person will also help ensure an adequate supply of products and materials are available and help stack, load & unload product.

Parts Puller (Laser department)

Hours:

  • Monday-Thursday (5:00 am – 2:30 pm) Friday (5:00 am – 9:00 am)
  • Monday-Thursday (3:00 pm — 1:30 am)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interest in laser cutting systems
  • 1+ years’ experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift 50#
  • Use hand tools on a repetitive basis, such as grinders, buffers, and sanders
  • Count and tag the parts per job order, pack, palatalize, and provide assistant within the department.
  • Work independently after probationary period to perform production goals with limited supervision
  • Must be dependable and self motivated.
  • Able to stand the entire shift and move around facility.

Forklift Operators

US Tech Force is looking for safety conscious Forklift Operators to move packages and material around our facilities.  Your job could involve driving outdoors, around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities.

Duties: 

  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
  • Transport raw materials to production workstations
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
  • Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs

  • Must be comfortable working inside and outside all times of the year

Skills:

  • 3 – 4 years forklift operating experience

  • On most occasions will lift 50 pounds or less and on a rare occasion must be able to lift, push and pull objects that are 75 pounds or heavier
