Account Payable Clerk

Account Payable Clerk

We have an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk in an established Accounting Department. Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire, $15.00/hours, insurance benefits after 90 days, 40 hours per week – Mon. – Fri. 7:30 am to 4:40 pm with a 1/2 hour lunch.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Review and verify invoices and check requests
  • Sort, code and match invoices
  • Set invoices up for payment
  • Enter and upload invoices into system
  • Track expenses and process expense reports
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Prepare and perform check runs
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Prepare analysis of accounts
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Maintain vendor files
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
  • Produce monthly reports
  • Assist with month end closing
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Assist with some payroll duties

Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of accounts payable
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting software
  • Proficient in data entry and management
  • 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
  • Past or Current Experience with MAS – 90 operating system preferred

We are looking for a full-time WAREHOUSE HELPER AND DELIVERY DRIVER with proven success of satisfying internal and external customers. This position will consist of, but is not limited to the follow: picking/organizing orders, staging product for installers, inventory control, delivery of product to an offsite facility, and loading and unloading product onto a trailer.

Responsibilities

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule

Inventory and quality control

Load and unload products onto truck/trailer according to company’s specifications

Maintain and organize product throughout warehouse

Deliver product to installers as needed

Grounds maintenance

Requirements

Positive attitude

Basic understanding of warehousing and inventory

Ability to lift heavy objects

Comfortable with warehousing practices and methods

Good organizational and time management skills

Clean driving record

Minimum 1-year experience of delivery driver

Strong customer service skills

Minimum 1-year of fork lift experience

High school diploma

No CDL required
