  • Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the fabricating trade.
  • Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
  • Monitor fabricating processes to avoid under or over cutting or bending parts or warping or distortion of material.
  • Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify the Foreman or management.
  • Determine required equipment and fabricating methods via established work procedures and apply proper fabricating techniques.
  • Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required.

MIG Welder-FDL

Maintenance Technician

We currently have an opportunity for a Plant Maintenance Technician on 1st shift.  This individual oversees and performs the preventive and proactive maintenance duties required for the manufacturing operations of the plant. Priorities include management and execution of PM schedules, troubleshoot and repair of any equipment that is needed to maintain maximum production rates, maintenance of an adequate spare parts inventory and facility housekeeping. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, weekends as required and also fulfill on-call duties for repairs and assistance. This position reports directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

Candidate must have the following skills / knowledge / experience: 
  • Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment
  • Basic industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing and pneumatic skills including troubleshooting
  • Understand purpose and proper use of small hand and power tools
  • Proper forklift operation and preventative maintenance.
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills
  • Inventory management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and communicate to other plant personnel
  • Facility organization through 5S program
  • Working knowledge of PLC’s and other electronic components
  • Basic computer skills
