We are looking for a number of motivated individuals for immediate openings in a manufacturing setting. The ASSEMBLER and Production Worker will assist the machine operators in the production of a quality product at specified quantities in a safe and cost-effective manner.

The primary duties will include:
•Check the correct identity, quality and appearance of the material and product
•Load and unload machines and position products in specified direction
•Pack, Box and Stack product
•Wrap and Tape Boxes of finished product
•Help ensure the quality of finished product
•Help ensure a neat and safe working environment

Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

Maintenance Technician – ($18.00 – $20.00 +)

We are currently looking for a Maintenance person – Immediate Opening, 2nd shift, Full-Time.

General Responsibilities
• Install, maintain and repair machinery, physical structures and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines
• Visually inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards and locate or prevent causes of malfunctions
• Report accurate quantities, material used and time in MD Link
• Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect, malfunction and discuss operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem and repair machine
• Initiate purchase order for repair parts
• Confer with management, engineering and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery to prevent malfunction
• Install, repair and program electrical apparatus and equipment
• Lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment
• Set up and operate machining tools such as grinder or drill to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures and tools
• Operate cutting torch and welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
• Fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions and other wood structures
• Realign and adjust components as needed
• Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems
• Start machines and equipment to test operation after repair
• Lock out machines and equipment in compliance with Lock Out/Tag Out regulations
• Perform required inspections
• Read and interpret blueprints to comply with engineering standards
• Must be available to emergency call ins and extended overtime hours as required

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training
• Certification in forklift operation. The company will train, following hire, if necessary

Skills and Abilities
• Read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively in front of employees and organizational group
• Apply skills to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form• Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
• Calculate figures and amounts such as rate, ratio and percent
Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Employee must be able to regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Use hands to feel, finger or handle all types of materials
• Reach with hands and arms
• Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and occasionally sit, climb or balance
• Requires regular lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision requirements; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust your focus

We are looking for an entry level Maintenance Assistant to work within a manufacturing setting and will assist in the material handling department. This is a first shift position, full-time position in the Fox Cities area. Willing to Train!

This person will split their time between maintenance and the material handler position. The basics of the role are:

• Very basic welding skills – formal welding is not necessary (Training Can be Provided)
• Very general electrical skills – (Training Can be Provided)
• Very basic mechanical skills – (Training Can be Provided

The hours would be Mon. – Thur. 6:00am to 2:30pm, or 7:00am to 3:30pm. AND Friday – 4:00am to 12:30pm.

Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift; $17.00 – $25.00

We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to help ensure the efficiency, maintenance and repair of machines and equipment in production, including electrical repairs and PLC Programming.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to production requests for immediate attention to production issues and problems.
  • Maintain production equipment.
  • Maintain records of preventative maintenance.
  • Create requisitions of equipment and supplies to maintain equipment.
  • Maintain PLC’s and troubleshoot using electrical diagrams, ladder logic code and laptop PC.
  • Work with Maintenance Manager and outside contractors to attain necessary resources.
  • Maintain general housekeeping of work area
  • Identify problem areas and address with permanent solutions.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and/or commensurate experience.
  • 5 years of maintenance experience and/or training or more.
  • Extensive understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.
  • Broad depth of experience and knowledge of production machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • Extensive electrical knowledge/training.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to weld. (TIG, MIG and Stick)
  • Read and understand schematics, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic drawings.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment or more.
  • Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems / PSM.
  • SAP experience.
